Barcelona and Real Madrid have reached a remarkable transfer deal, the Dutch World Youth Championship Golden Boot Dibi will be transferred from Barcelona to Atletico Madrid. It is reported that the transfer fee is only 3 million euros. Diaby has already arrived at Atletico's base and is expected to make his debut in the next round of La Liga matches, when Atletico hosts Juaradulet.
Diaby was signed during Ronno Gauvin's time at Barcelona, but after Gauvin's departure, Diaby's situation at Barcelona has not been ideal. With the arrival of Robert Ljunduvski this season, Diby almost lost his playing opportunities, scoring just one goal in four appearances all season. However, at the Qatar World Youth Championship, he got more appearances and scored in the round of 16 against the United States.
Atletico Madrid previously made a lucrative loan move to Chelsea for Zouo Félix for a high fee. They then looked at Dippy, and there have been quite a few deals between Barcelona and Atletico in recent years, including the likes of Suarez and Keshavin. Atletico made the offer to sign Diby, all went well and it was good value for the 28-year-old World Youth League leading scorer for a transfer fee of just €3 million.
Diby has reportedly arrived at Atletico and immediately joined the team in training. He will be interacting with Schmone and his teammates. If his form stays good, then he is expected to continue his La Liga journey in the next round of the competition against Juaradulet.
