AC Taipei Athletic Club, which has been making waves in the soccer world, not long ago announced a grandiose plan to create Taiwan's first professional youth training system. This corporate team is not only about to welcome a Spanish coach from La Liga powerhouse Celta Vigo to join the team, but is also aiming to hire more European coaches, with a view to forging an up-and-coming force in Taiwan's soccer in the echelon player selection, which will be launched in February next year.

In 2021, Taipei Athletic Club won the championship of the Taiwan B League, successfully leapfrogging to the Taiwan Enterprise A. In 2022, they are even more firmly established in the league. The club's head coach, Chen Hsin-An, aims to revolutionize the existing youth training structure, and to that end, he has invited two Spanish coaches to become naturalized. Chen Hsin-An admits, "Simply reforming the system is not enough to achieve a qualitative leap, we must synchronize the thinking of the coaching staff with the international advanced level in order to help the team achieve significant growth."

The coach who will arrive in Taipei in February is ABEL LORENZO AGRAS, while BLAS CHARLÍN will join in July as the Director of the youth ladder.BLAS is currently coaching at Celta Vigo in La Liga, while ABEL will take over as the U18 ladder coach. The two will work together to train the coaches and integrate European soccer concepts into the youth training system.

Chen Hsin-An also plans to further expand his coaching team, with plans to hire a youth coach, a goalkeeper coach and a physical fitness coach. He expects to bring changes to Taiwan's soccer youth training by introducing a brand new coaching team.

Meanwhile, Taipei Athletic Club will soon open the selection of new players for the U15 and U18 youth teams. The selection will be held on February 4 and 5, and details and registration will be announced through the club's official Facebook account in the near future.
