It was announced to the public on Thursday (22nd) that the team has reached an agreement to terminate the contract of central midfielder Esco. The 30-year-old midfielder joined the club as a free agent this summer, only to see his short-lived spell at West Vale come to a rushed end after just four months. Sources say Ayscough could be set to follow in the footsteps of former coach Lubidiku and join Wolves in the Premier League.
After his contract with Real Madrid expired this summer, Ayscough chose to continue following in the footsteps of his mentor Lubidiku by joining West Vale. Despite his bright performances in the early part of the season, with the sacking of Lubidiku, it was rumored that Ayscough and West Vale director Monchi had a falling out, which eventually led to an agreement between the two sides and a decision to end his contract early.
Currently, Lubidiku is coaching Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League. It is reported that Esco is also interested in the Premier League and does not rule out the possibility of returning to Wolves in the future to renew their relationship with Lubidiku.
