Portugal's legendary footballer, Cron, quickly returned home to Madrid after saying a tearful goodbye on stage at the World Cup in Qatar. Just this Wednesday, he made a low-key appearance at Real Madrid's training base, Valdevibas, to train alone. According to Spanish media reports, Cron's move was a request to his former owners to train at the club in order to maintain his competitive status, while his future plans are still up in the air.

During the World Cup, Cron officially terminated his contract with Manchester United and has since devoted himself fully to the Portuguese national team's World Cup campaign. With the national team's exit in the last eight, the 37-year-old captain was saddened to have to start planning for his personal future. Despite media reports claiming that he will join Saudi Arabia's Ainas for a high fee, Cron himself has categorically denied it, and his whereabouts are still the focus of media attention.

According to Spanish media Relevo, Cron showed up at Real Madrid's base on Wednesday and trained with his 12-year-old son "Little Cron". In order to avoid unnecessary commotion, Cron submitted a low-key application to Real Madrid for the use of the training ground and facilities, which was approved by the club, indicating that the relationship between him and Real Madrid remains quite cordial.

Cron is said to have maintained a good relationship with Real Madrid president Piriz. Despite the tension between the two sides when they left the team, Piriz has publicly stated that Cron was the best acquisition in the team's history and the best role model. During Cron's nine years with Real Madrid, he helped the team win two La Liga titles and four Champions League titles.
