The summer rumor mill is abuzz with rumors that Barcelona are looking to poach Manchester City's central midfielder, Bernardo Silva. The Portugal international also has aspirations for La Liga, however, after City's recent 6-0 thrashing of Nottingham Forest in the Premier League, Bernardo Silva made it clear that he will be staying with the team.

Silva said bluntly, "I have not received any offer so far, I have decided to stay at Manchester City, life here makes me very happy." Since joining City in the summer of 2017, Silva, 28, has made 256 appearances for the team, contributing 50 goals, making him an indispensable mainstay of the team, and contributing an assist in the last match.

Although Barcelona was interested in acquiring Silva in the summer, the 100 million euro transfer fee offered by Manchester City discouraged the opponent. As the transfer window is about to close, Silva also said he will stay in the team to give his best, which is undoubtedly a major benefit for Manchester City to compete for the title.
