According to reports on August 29, journalist Romero revealed that Villarreal center Foyth has suffered an unfortunate knee injury and is expected to be out of action for eight to ten weeks.
Romero further noted that Foyth's injury will make the possibility of him joining Barcelona extremely tricky.
Of note, Foyth was unlucky to leave the field in the 58th minute of Villarreal's match against Getafe in the 3rd round of La Liga with an injury.
