Manchester United have officially unveiled a season-long loan deal for 29-year-old Brazilian international left-back Alexis Dinis to La Liga rivals Xavier. Surprisingly, the Red Devils are not charging any fee for the loan, but Xavier will have to bear the player's full salary.

In the last season, Alexis Dinis played 26 matches for Manchester United, contributing 1 goal and 4 assists. With United bringing in Feijano left winger Duvel Malacia this summer, as well as existing mainstay Lauki Combes, there is fierce competition for the left back position, so United decided to send Alexis Dinis on loan to Westville.

Alex Dinis said on social media, "To everyone at Manchester United, I'll be cheering for United all the way through the new season, thank you for everything you've given me."

It's worth noting that United have loaned striker Anthony Madill to Westville earlier this year. After returning to the team this summer, Madill performed well in the warm-up matches, and it seems that United are hoping that Alexis Dinis will also make a metamorphosis in his performance at Westville and shine upon his return to the team.
