La Liga giants Barcelona

The club's financial situation has gradually improved through two recent asset realizations, and it has unexpectedly become the biggest winner in the transfer market. Barcelona are reported to have reached an agreement with Xavier to sign French center-back Zoulis Goudi for €60 million, once again snatching prey from under Chelsea's noses. The 23-year-old starlet did not play for Xavier in Monday's (25) warm-up match and is preparing to join Barcelona.

Due to financial constraints, Barcelona has signed stars such as Rafinha Biloni, Robert Ljundovsky, Kisiel and Anders Kirchen this summer. This time they bid 50 million euros, with another 10 million euros in bonus clauses, and although the bid was lower than Chelsea's 65 million euros, Barcelona promised to pay the full amount in one go rather than Chelsea's installments, and eventually gained the acceptance of Sivir, with Zulis Goudi signing for four years.

Chelsea and Barcelona have had several encounters in the transfer market this summer, resulting in an overwhelming victory for Barcelona. At the beginning of the month, Chelsea seeks to sign the Brazilian winger Rafinha Biloni at a price of 65 million euros, this offer has been accepted by the Lens United, but Rafinha was bent on going to Barcelona, and eventually waited until the Barcelona fund-raising success, and a successful interception of the robbery; the French winger Oswendi Billy, was also originally a Chelsea hope to introduce the player as a free agent, but the star ultimately chose to extend his contract with Barcelona.

Barcelona also want to sign Chelsea's defensive duo Espanyol and Marcos Aranzo, but the two sides are currently at loggerheads over the transfer fee. After Chelsea's 0-4 loss to Arsenal in the warm-up match on Sunday (24), team leader Ducao did not name any players who were "not in Chelsea's heart", but pointed directly to Espigoda and Marcos Aranzo. It is also worth mentioning that Danish center back Anders Kirchen refused to extend his Chelsea contract and joined Barcelona as a free agent.
