It is at this point that Juventus are most likely to sign 28-year-old Manchester United star Pogba, according to Italian newspaper Sport Turin. Legendary Manchester United shot-stopper Robin van Persie was asked in a recent interview about his most talented teammates during his career and he listed six, four of whom he played alongside at United. He said, "It's really difficult to single out one person, I chose Bergkamp, Henry, Giggs, Scholes, Rooney and Fanny."
Giggs, Scholes and Rooney were Van Persie's teammates at Manchester United, while Henry and Bergkamp came from Arsenal and Fanny was his striking partner in the Dutch national team. As for the strongest defenders he has faced in his career, Manchester United's Vidic and Rio Ferdinand are listed.
Van Persie also spoke about his reasons for leaving United: "At the time I had one year left on my contract and maybe I should have stayed. But Van Gaal, as manager, has made his position clear and you have to make a choice: do you stay and fight for a place, or do you choose to play fair? After combining all the information, we decided to move away."
