The unexpected postponement of today's clash with Brentford has added insult to injury for Manchester United. The postponement means that the match will have to be made up, which is likely to be scheduled for March next year. Adding more opponents to an already tough schedule would certainly add insult to injury for United.

But the reality is that the matchup against Atletico Madrid is still a bit more optimistic compared to the one against Paris, especially since United now has Crowe. In the Champions League, Crow has managed to eliminate Atletico Madrid five times, including 2014 and 2016, the Portuguese star even beat Simeone to win the Champions League. From this perspective, Crowe is Atletico's nemesis.

What's more interesting is that I don't know if EPL fans have noticed that Manchester United's trajectory this season is quite similar to Chelsea's last season. In the league, both teams dropped out early, with hopes of winning the title almost dashed. In the League Cup, both teams also went out early, reducing the team's burden. In the Champions League, both teams came out on top and met Atletico Madrid in the round of 16. The key point is that both teams have changed their manager.

Are these five similarities just a coincidence, or have United inherited Chelsea's luck from last season? Let's wait and see.
