On Nov. 16, Spain's Daily Sport revealed that Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho's determination to leave Barcelona is unwavering, and that he wants to play at the Camp Nou at least until the end of next summer.

Coutinho was given the opportunity to showcase his talents during Koeman's reign, but with Koeman's departure, Coutinho's future has become uncertain and he has had to re-plan his career.

Despite the outside pressure, Coutinho has remained adamant that he does not intend to return during the winter transfer window, and that he hopes to find a solution that satisfies both the club and the fans next summer.

Coutinho's high salary is a major burden for Barcelona and while the club are interested in selling him, the process will not be simple. Xavi has taken note of Coutinho's situation and plans to make an assessment after a deeper look.
