Bearing the brunt of this is 30-year-old Real Madrid midfielder Eden Hazard, who has gone granular in 10 La Liga matches this season, with just one assist.
Close behind is 26-year-old Atletico Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente, who has also failed to score in eight games, contributing just one assist.
Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho, 29, hasn't had the best of performances either, scoring one goal in eight games but failing to deliver an assist.
Valencia striker Maxi Gomez, 25, has only made nine total appearances despite scoring and assisting once each.
Bilbao defender André Capa, 29, has not even made a start in La Liga this season.
Villarreal striker Paco Alcacer, 28, has dished out two assists in seven matches, but the pellets have not come in.
Cadiz striker Florin Antonay, 28, has been quiet in three games, failing to score or assist.
Levante defender Mustafi, 29, has made just six appearances this season.
Getafe striker Bitolo, 32, has failed to score or assist in five games.
And 35-year-old Granada striker Carlos Bacca has scored just one goal and contributed one assist in 10 games.
