However, a turnaround could be just around the corner. Manager Tuchel has his eye on 22-year-old defender Conde of La Liga powerhouse Sevilla, and the defensive star is expected to be Chelsea's next big attraction. Konde is not only the core of Sevilla's defense, but has also shown excellent defensive ability and goal-scoring and assisting ability in 89 games, which can be regarded as a defender with a knife.
However, the 70 million euro bid has made Chelsea hesitant. With multiple giants chasing the player, Chelsea must make a quick decision so as not to miss the opportunity.
