In the height of summer, the Red Devils

There were secret plans to bring in a strong addition to the right side of the defense, however, England internationals
Trippier.
's path to a transfer has come to a standstill.
Manchester United have high hopes for the 30-year-old Atletico Madrid right-back and want to sign him at a low price, while Trippier is also eager to return to his native Manchester. However, the Manchester Evening News revealed that United are only willing to pay 20 million euros, while Atletico's asking price is far more than that, and the two sides seem to have trouble reaching an agreement.
Trippier, who is in the midst of preparations for the Europa League semi-finals, appeared somewhat bemused by the transfer rumors, saying, "I'm just enjoying every moment at Atletico Madrid, and we've just won the La Liga title. Right now, I'm in the England team and we're facing Denmark, it's not the time to focus on clubs or transfers. I will give my all for England, even if I can't play, I will give 100%."
Last week, Manchester United have told Portuguese international Diogo Dalo that they want him to return to the club this summer. This is despite the fact that AC
Milan (Italy)
There is an interest in renewing the loan and eventually buying Darlow, but United have no intention of negotiating and require Darlow to return to Carrington at the end of the month for pre-season training.
Dalot, 22, made his first start for Portugal in the Euro 16, and manager Santos even said that Dalot's appearance was not due to an injury to a rival alone: "I needed to bring fresh blood to the team. Regarding Dalot, he has done well in training and played well today."
Currently, Darlow is the only Europa League international in United's right-back position, while £50million signing Wambizka has not been named in the England squad.
Wan Pisaca's defensive ability on the ground is second to none in the Premier League, but his assisting ability is limited. Trippier was one of the centerpieces of the attack in Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid tactics, and in England he was one of the set-piece takers.
Darlow also specializes in assists, scoring two goals and assisting three times in 33 games on loan across the pond last season. Interestingly, the stats show that Wambisaka has scored 2 goals and assisted 6 times in 54 games.
Trippier is superior to Darlow and Wambisaica in terms of experience and is undoubtedly a more versatile attacking winger, and even more of an expert if Solskjaer plans to go with a three-at-the-back formation. But with United's level of rotation, it would be a waste to substitute either Wambisaica or Trippier.
Sources close to Darlow insist that a season on loan in Serie A has allowed the Portuguese winger to improve his defensive game.
Dalo was not at his best in the knockout stages of the Europa League, but this was his first start for the Portuguese national team and it would be unrealistic to expect much from him, and United's newest addition, Bruno Fernandes, hasn't played well for the national team either.
Dalo made more passes in the front three than starting left-back Rafael Guerrero, and only Renato Sanchez made more direct passes than Dalo in the entire team. The Manchester Evening News in England claims that Mourinho was impressed with Darlow's national team debut. In fact, Dalo also played in the Under-21 UEFA Youth Championship this summer, helping Portugal reach the final, and his performance was recognized by Solskjaer.
Solskjaer and the coaching staff have been in touch with Dalo during his loan spell at the San Siro, and United decided to recall him long before he made his national team debut against France.Dalo spoke to Solskjaer eagerly after United's UEFA Cup showdown with Milan in March.
Despite not being as good at assisting as his opponent, Darlow is a better attacker than Wambizka. Sousa has played the Portuguese winger as a right winger on a limited basis since taking charge of Manchester United. There is a reason why Crystal Palace decided to convert Wambizaka into a wing-back after he played as a youth team winger for seven years.
Last season, only Fernandez and Rashford played more games than Wambizka in the United squad, with the latter requiring some rotation. Soso could also utilize an assisting right back in some of the games where there is not much defensive pressure.
However, Darlow doesn't have much experience of playing in the Premier League. He has not appeared in the Premier League since the arrival of his friend Fernandez on February 1 last year. The £19 million man's last Premier League appearance came against Newcastle in October 2019, which was his only domestic league start in his second season at United.
Wambisa was unavailable for last year's visit to Selhurst Park to face Crystal Palace, but the manager opted for Timothy Fosu-Mensah, citing an impressive training performance from the Dutch international. Of course, Mensah is in the final year of his contract and will inevitably be sold, and organizing his appearances to show potential buyers the goods is one of the reasons for not using Darlow instead.
With Wambizaka, Darlow, Luke Shaw and Tellez, United's lineup of four wingbacks isn't bad. Solskjaer has been in charge for more than two years and has learned not to limit himself to long-term considerations or to exclude the pursuit of short-term results.
Cavani brings a lot to the table, Trippier may be fine, but if the price is too high, most of United's transfer funds have already been spent on Sancho, new center backs such as Real Madrid's iron defender, Varane, are higher priority new options, and defensive midfielders and strikers are also more pressing than adding a new right back.
Unless the Glazer's suddenly become generous, United should be spending their money where it counts. The experience of bringing in Van der Beck last season should not be forgotten. While many United fans can't see past Darlow, the Portuguese prodigy, who has played in the Champions League and Europa League knockout stages, is clearly far more talented than Red Devils youth players Brendan Williams and Ethan Laird. Even if he is recalled without reinforcements, Solskjaer's right-back line-up is better than last season.
