The June 24 news update reveals that in Wu Lei's study abroad documentary film My Time and Me, he provides insight into the philosophical differences between European and domestic soccer clubs.
Wu Lei said bluntly, "What I felt immediately upon arriving here was that the training bases of numerous clubs in our country, as well as the infrastructure of the clubs, are actually far superior to their European counterparts. We have more than a thousand square meters of gym here, equipped with swimming pools, and a sizable number of soccer fields, while in Europe, such hardware is relatively humble."
"But I think the key thing is the people, everyone has a role to play and that is to enjoy the job. Maybe that's where European clubs are more mature at home."
