Swiss soccer research institute CIES recently released the latest installment of its player market value assessment, in which Manchester City's new star Foden boasts a valuation of 190.2 million euros, followed closely by Manchester United duo Greenwood and Rashford with 178 million euros and 159.1 million euros, respectively, nipping at their heels.
When assessing a player's value, CIES takes into account not only the player's strength, but also factors such as age, contract duration, career development, club and national team performance, and even future inflation expectations. Overall, the CIES is fair in its assessment of player value.
Manchester City youngster Foden tops the latest list of players' worth with €190.2 million, followed by Manchester United's Greenwood with €178 million and Rashford in third place with €159.1 million. Borussia Dortmund's Harland is fourth with €155.5 million, while Manchester United midfielder B Faye is fifth with €154.3 million.
In La Liga, Barcelona's De Jong is sixth with €138.7 million, Pedri is seventh with €133.2 million and Atletico Madrid's Felix is ninth with €127.8 million. In the Bundesliga, Bayern's Alphonso Davies is eighth with €131.6 million. Chelsea's Munter, on the other hand, is tenth with €123.6 million.
It's worth noting that Mbappe failed to make the top 10 despite his actual valuation of €118.3 million, as his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires next summer.
