On June 14th, Beijing time came the heavy news that 442 magazine released a list of the top 50 soccer stars in the world for the year 2021. On this star-studded list, the two soccer superstars Messi and Crow did not stand at the top, but Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne took the top spot by himself.

De Bruyne stood out mainly due to his outstanding performance in the past season. Not only did he help City win the Premier League and League Cup, but he also led his team to the final of the Champions League, despite their defeat.

Second on the list is Lionel Messi, who didn't win any team honors last season, but still had an eye-catching individual performance, taking home the La Liga Golden Boot. Levin, who came third, won the praise of fans by breaking the scoring record in the Bundesliga and leading his team to nine consecutive titles.

Neymar and Mbappe are fourth and fifth respectively, with England star Kane in sixth. While Harland, B Faye and Lukaku follow in seventh to ninth. c Luo is still in 10th place despite only winning the Serie A Golden Boot.

Bayern's Thomas Muller came in at No. 11 and Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Oblak came in at No. 12, making him the highest-ranked goalkeeper on the list. Stars such as Kimmich, Salah and Benzema also made the list, coming in at 13th to 20th.

Manchester City were the biggest winners of the selection, with four players from City in the top 20. While the 21st and 22nd place are Ederson and Cancelo from Manchester City. Asian player Son ranked 23rd to 25th, making him the highest-ranked Asian player on the list.

Players from 26th to 50th place are well-known players such as Van Dyke, Kante, B Seat, Alphonso Davies and many more. This list once again shows how exciting and competitive the world of soccer is.
