Gareth Bale's footballing career is about to reach another high point - the drums are beating for the Europa League and he is back at Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. Despite rumors in the Spanish media that he might be washing his hands of the game after the Euros, Bale himself has denied it. Looking back at his career, from Real Madrid's loan to Tottenham, to a possible return next season, everything seems to be full of uncertainty.

At 31 years old, Bale is no longer young, but his ambition is undiminished. He rejects rumors of retirement after the Euros, and with all his energies currently focused on helping Wales do well in the Euros, he doesn't seem to be in a hurry to make a decision on where to go in the future.

Looking back at last season, the conflict between Bale and Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane led to him being sent on loan to Tottenham Hotspur. Now that Zidane has stepped down and Bale is in his final campaign in the Premier League, speculation is once again rife that he may retire after the Euros.

Faced with media inquiries, Bell appeared quite cautious about his future, he said: "There is currently a lot of speculation about my future, I do not want to be disturbed by these. I am now only focusing on the Europa League. I don't want to make any comments so as not to cause unnecessary trouble. After the Euros, I will sit down and decide what I want to do."

Speaking about the upcoming Euros, Bale was adamant: "I want to give it my all for the Euros and I want to do everything I can to help Wales. The more I talk about it, it will probably just cause more confusion. All I care about right now is the first game against Switzerland, which means a lot to me."
