At the beginning of 2024, on January 17th, Dalian Professional Football Club waved goodbye to its 15-year professional league career, just like spring mud returning to the river and the sea. Immediately after, on January 29th, Dalian Zhixing Football Club changed its name to Dalian Yingbo Football Club, and this month welcomed new members such as Lv Peng, Fei Yu, Yan Xianggong and Lv Zhuo Yi.
Moving into February, Dalian Kuncheng Football Club joined the China B League as a supplement and changed its name from Dalian Huayi. Dalian Yingbo, on the other hand, announced the addition of several players.
In March, Dalian Yingbo opens its league campaign with four consecutive victories, leaving the team in first place. Fei Yu wore shin guards with the team logo and Li Guoxu was awarded the best coach. Dalian Kuncheng also won back-to-back matches in March.
In April, Dalian Yingbo won two and drew two and remained undefeated. Dalian Kuncheng topped the North Zone table. A classic game, a game with a packed grandstand, and Mao Weijie was awarded the best player.
In May, Dalian Yingbo suffered its first loss and Guangzhou provoked a clash. The team was in poor form, but Dalian Kuncheng won three consecutive matches under Zhao Faqing.
In June, Dalian Yingbo suffered a goal-line hangover and the CFA admitted a miscarriage of justice. Dalian Kuncheng won three and lost two to secure third place.
In July, Dalian Yingbo regained the second place with three consecutive victories, and Dalian Kuncheng entered the finals with the third place in the North Zone. Li Guoxu was awarded Best Coach and Fei Yu was awarded Best Player.
In August, Dalian Yingbo kept undefeated with consecutive victories, Dalian Kuncheng's rush to the first division was not good, and Yan Shoukuan was awarded the best player.
In September, Dalian Yingbo was in poor form and Dalian Kuncheng won all their matches under Zhao Faqing, with Yuan Hao finishing a super long free kick.
In October, Dalian Yingbo reversed their rival, Dalian Kuncheng won all their matches to reach the first division, and Zhao Faqing was awarded the best.
In November, Dalian Yingbo succeeded in the Super League, becoming the third Chinese Super League team in Soccer City, and Haiqingdao Xinghong Zhichuang qualified for the Chinese Champions League.
In December, Dalian Yingbo Mao Weijie was awarded Player of the Year, Li Guoxu was awarded Coach of the Year, and Dalian Kuncheng Wang Zhuo was awarded Player of the Year.
