In view of the fact that Coach Yang Lin will devote himself to the advanced coaching training of AFC and will not be able to continue to coach the first team of Shanghai Jiading Huilong in the 2025 season, the two sides have reached a consensus after friendly negotiation, and decided that Coach Yang Lin will not renew the position of the first team head coach after the expiration of his contract in 2024, and the coaching team of Coach Liu Yujian and Coach Liu Tianqi will leave the post as well.
Looking back to June 2023, when the team was deep in the relegation quagmire, Coach Yang Lin stepped forward and took over the coaching whip of Shanghai Jiading Huilong first team. Under his wise leadership, the team collected 15 points in the next 7 rounds of matches and successfully escaped from the relegation crisis. Eventually, the team finished 11th in the 2023 Central League, the best record in the team's history. Entering the 2024 season, Coach Yang Lin once again led the team to maintain the 11th place in the Central League, equaling the best record in the team's history. Under his meticulous coaching, the team gradually shaped into a team with solid defense, tough style, and the courage to challenge strong opponents, and the number of goals conceded in the 2024 season even ranked third in the league. Coach Yang Lin dared to use young talents boldly, such as Lin Chaochan, Li Ruiyue, Li Xi'nan, Zhou Junhao, etc. These outstanding players trained by Jiading Huilong's youth training system have made their presence felt in the Central League and contributed to the team's brilliant performances at critical moments, laying a solid foundation for the team's long-term development.
