On the 17th, the Dutch Football Association announced in the official channel that a total of 13 Chinese coaches embarked on an exchange trip, aiming to experience the charm of Dutch soccer in depth.
The official announcement from the Dutch Football Association is as follows:
From December 3rd to 14th, the Dutch Football Association (NFB) carefully planned a unique soccer learning journey for 13 coaches from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). The exchange was a milestone in the many years of cooperation between the two associations and fits closely into the Dutch FA's international development strategy, which is centered on the concepts of connection, cooperation and knowledge sharing.
During this coaching tour, the Chinese guests were immersed in the atmosphere of Dutch soccer. They not only visited famous soccer clubs such as Eindhoven and Alkmaar, but also met face-to-face with a number of soccer experts to learn in-depth about their insights and ways of working.
On Saturday, the coaching staff was on hand to observe the Eindhoven and Alkmaar youth team matches and see the development of the young players up close. They also witnessed the exciting matchups between Eindhoven vs. Twente and Alkmaar Youth vs. Emmen.
In addition, the delegation visited the representative of amateur soccer, the Hodin Club vv IJsselmeervogels, and gained an insight into the mode of operation of the Sparkenburg club through a field trip.
The Dutch FA and the CFA have maintained a friendly and cooperative relationship since many years, and on November 29th, a friendly match was held in Rotterdam between the two women's soccer teams, and the visit of the coaching delegation further strengthened the exchanges between the two sides and demonstrated the determination to improve the level of soccer together.
The exchange is part of the Dutch FA's International Youth Training Academy project and an important part of its new training program, which aims to provide tailor-made services to international football federations, leagues, clubs and confederations.
