Since November 30th, Dalian Kuncheng has taken the lead in kicking off the player recruitment for the new season, aiming to inject new energy into the team. Immediately after that, on December 6, they beat the drums of preparation for the 2025 season. In comparison, China A team's new season preparation pace is much earlier.
Dalian Kuncheng, formerly known as Dalian Huayi, was founded in May 2022. In that year, they made a name for themselves in the Chinese Champions League, but unfortunately failed to break into the Second Division. However, in the 2023 Chinese Champions League, they finally got their wish to be in the Second Division.
In the 2024 season of the Central League B, Dalian Kun Cheng was like a tiger with wings. After a fierce competition, they finally killed Shanghai Harbour B with Chen Jiaqi's penalty kick, and successfully promoted to the championship group of the Central League with an impressive record of 16 wins, 5 draws, 7 losses and 53 points. Now, they are welcoming the 2025 season with great enthusiasm.
Looking back at last season's squad, Dalian Kuncheng knows that in order to gain a foothold in the Central League, they must rapidly improve their strength in a short period of time. Especially in terms of foreign aid introduction, they will be more cautious and strive to surpass in the next 2-3 years.
