The "successor to Wu Lei" from the Genbao base has already made a name for himself, and that is Liu Ruowan vanadium, who used to play for Wuhan Sanzhen. Born in 1999 in Nanchong, Sichuan province, Liu Ruofan joined the Genbao base in 2010 at the age of 11, and soon became known as "Liu Ruoma" due to his high goal scoring rate in the youth team.

Unlike his older brother Wu Lei's path, Liu Ruofan was pushed to Shanghai Shenhua by the Genbao base.In 2017, at the age of 18, Liu Ruofan stepped into the first-team of Shenhua, and although he was only given the opportunity to make three appearances, his performances in the final of the F.A.C.A. Cup this season were noteworthy. In the first round, he skillfully broke through Stanley Wang and delivered a key pass to Martins, helping Shenhua win 1-0.

Moreno pointed to Liu Ruowan's head after this assist, as if to suggest to the Shenhua fans that the future of the team was in his hands. Liu Ruowan was 18 years old at the time, with a short head of hair, spirited, and at the end of the year undisputedly won the Chinese Golden Boy Award. Shenhua fans have envisioned that Liu Ruofan will attack the city for Shenhua in the next 5 to 10 years.

However, Liu Ruowan vanadium's career didn't go as smoothly as expected. In the next two seasons, he made 32 appearances, starting 20 times, with only one goal and one assist, and in the 2020 season, he was loaned out to Tianjin Jinmen Tigers, where he made 17 appearances, but had no success. in the 2021 season, he returned to Sichuan, joining Chengdu Rongcheng, where he scored 13 goals and five assists in 27 matches in the Chinese League One.

At the end of the season, Liu Ruowan vanadium didn't stay in Rongcheng, but returned to Shanghai Shenhua, where he made 25 appearances and contributed 2 goals and 4 assists. At Shenhua, he made 25 appearances, contributing two goals and four assists, and faded from the starting lineup in 2023, making six appearances in the season, before joining Wuhan Sanzhen in 2024, making 20 appearances and contributing one assist.

In the past two seasons, Liu Ruofan failed to score goals as a striker. Now, his contract with Shenhua has expired. Given that Shenhua's midfield and forward lineups are sufficient, Liu Ruofan's chances of staying at Shenhua in the new season are low. Perhaps, China A team will be his new home.
