Speaking about the previous match against Brentford, Foden revealed, "We had the chance to win more in that game but unfortunately it didn't work out. However, against Ipswich, we took every chance and showed a great attacking ability. For me personally, scoring goals is not only a great boost to my self-confidence but also a contribution to the team."

In terms of locker room atmosphere, Foden said, "Right now, everyone in the locker room is excited and everyone seems to be very happy. this win definitely strengthens our team cohesion and self-confidence, and gives us confidence for the challenges ahead."

Foden also mentioned his 100-goal milestone: "I'm four goals away from reaching my 100-goal target at City. it's a milestone worth pursuing, and I'm going to work harder on my shots to try and achieve it sooner rather than later. it's a great honor for me to score goals for my beloved team."

Despite the big win, Foden remained calm: "We still have a lot of work to do. this win is just the starting point and we must not be satisfied with it. we have to keep working hard, keep winning the way we have been winning and keep improving."
