A passionate match was fought between Benin and Nigeria in the 4th round of the group stage of the 2024 FIFA World Cup African qualifiers.

At the beginning of the match, the Nigerian team was like a tiger descending from the mountain, with a strong desire to attack. In the 28th minute alone, Chukwueze crossed the ball from the right and Onyedika quickly adjusted his pace and fired a powerful shot to give Nigeria a 1-0 lead. However, Benin did not give in and adjusted their tactics to turn the game around.

In the 37th minute, Benin's Jordel Dossou made a successful break in front of the goal and pushed a shot into the goal, making the score 1-1 and tilting the balance of the game in an instant. The goal not only boosted Benin's morale, but also brought the game to a fever pitch.

In the second half, both teams fought hard. Nigeria tried to counterattack, but Benin's defense was like a brick wall, and they managed to withstand the onslaught of the Nigerian team with excellent teamwork and resilience.

In the 85th minute, Olawoyin's cross from the right was cleverly headed off the line by a defender. In the 86th minute, Onuachu's header went over the crossbar. Although these chances could not be converted into goals, the effort of the Nigerian team was evident.

As the referee blew the final whistle, the match came to an end. Benin made a comeback with a 2-1 victory over Nigeria to win this crucial battle. Goals from Moune and Jordel Dossou were the key to the victory. Despite leading at halftime, Nigeria could not withstand Benin's fierce comeback and lost.
