At dawn Beijing time, the first rays of morning light on January 21st witnessed the 22nd round of the English Premier League's main event, as Chelsea and Wolves will face off on the green pitch. In the countdown to the match, Chelsea starlet Achampong revealed to the official media his journey into the first-team, his comments on Coach Maresca, and his eagerness for the upcoming match.

Facing a new journey into the first team, Archampong reveals his inner transformation: "Nowadays, I am confident and my love for soccer has grown stronger. When I was younger, I was always eager to improve and the pressure almost took my breath away. Now, I appreciate every moment of my time on the pitch. The daily hard training, the careful guidance of senior players and their strict demands on me have helped me to go further and further on the road to growth."

Speaking about working with Coach Maresca, Archampong is full of gratitude: "I have an excellent impression of my coach. Not only does he have a keen eye for detail in the game, but he is also approachable and inspiring in private. He encourages me to be true to myself on and off the court, so that I can face challenges with confidence. Whether it's talking to the players at lunch or coaching on the pitch, he encourages me to be brave and show my strengths, and that trust strengthens me."

Amidst the fierce competition in the first team, Acheampong doesn't let up: "My teammates are all elite and the competition motivates me to improve myself. This atmosphere keeps me improving, not knowing when an opportunity will come my way, such as in the game against Crystal Palace, where I was quickly given the chance to make my debut. When faced with an opportunity, I have to give my best to return the trust of the coach and my teammates with my best form."

Recalling the moment he made his Premier League debut, ACHAMPONG still can't hide his excitement: "The night I found out the news of my debut, I was nervous but I slept well. I have this habit of sleeping calmly no matter what happens! I'm looking forward to it, but I'm treating the game as if it's nothing special. I was ready and satisfied with my performance. Even though we failed to win, it was a valuable experience for me. The presence of my parents cheering me on made it all that much more precious."

Facing the match against Wolves, Achampong is full of expectation: "We hope to end with a win, show excellence and win what we deserve. Every game is a new starting point, no pride in winning, no discouragement in losing, and a draw is motivation to move forward. We will do our best to present a great tournament for our fans."
