On the eve of the upcoming Euro opener, Albanian coach Silvinho has said outright that the clash will put an unprecedented psychological weight on the Italian team. He is confident that despite Albania's trials and tribulations in the qualifiers, the team is poised and ready to give it their all on the Euro stage.

Citing Brazil's opening draw with Switzerland in the 2018 World Cup as an example, Silvinho reminded Italy that a win in the first game would make the subsequent journey challenging. Nonetheless, he also confessed that Albania is not under as much pressure as Italy, but is feeling the same tension of the tournament. He revealed that the team is in good health and the players are giving their best in training.

Speaking of his personal coaching career, Silvinho recalled his time in Italy, especially as an assistant coach at Inter Milan, a time he believes benefited him greatly and praised the tactical philosophy of Italian soccer.

As the Europa League draws closer, Silvinho and his Albanian team are ready to go and they are looking forward to proving themselves on the field of play against strong teams such as Italy.
