Kemba Walker.

officially announced his retirement, marking the end of his illustrious 13-year professional basketball career.

A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Walker won the NCAA championship and was honored with the Most Outstanding Player (MOP) award in 2011. That same year, he was selected by the Charlotte Hornets (now Charlotte Bobcats) with the 9th overall pick in the NBA Draft.

During his NBA career, Walker played for the Charlotte Hornets, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and Dallas Mavericks. Last year, he kicked off his European basketball career by joining French basketball club Monaco.

Walker's accomplishments in the NBA include four All-Star Game selections (one as a starter) and a 2019 selection to the NBA All-Star Game Third Team. He has also been honored twice with the NBA Sportsmanship Award.

In the regular season, Walker appeared in 750 games, averaging 33.1 minutes of playing time and was able to contribute 19.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.2 steals. In the playoffs, he appeared in 31 games, averaging 36.5 minutes of playing time and was able to contribute 19.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 1.1 steals.
