"It was a planned start, we won two home games, we learned from our mistakes and we had some opponents finish second. Happy for the boys, every week we are seeing progress," he said.
Finally, he praised Peruvian defender Luis Abram, who made his debut in this Monday's game.
"Luis Abram has great potential and he will grow with the pros behind us; I hope we can make him a better player for the Peruvian national team every FIFA day. I know he will give us great satisfaction."
