Club América has unveiled the team's new second away shirt for the 2021 season. Inspired by the memorable Eagles jersey worn by goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa in 2008, the new second away jersey, along with the entire collection starting in November 2020, features a striking black-and-white color scheme and stylized graphics.
The concept of the collection, which celebrates the club's outstanding achievements and sportsmanship, is expressed in beautiful graphic elements, with a contrasting black pattern and a black club crest on an elegant white canvas.
The new jersey introduces Nike's next-generation VaporKnit technology, which utilizes a generative design that optimizes moisture transfer, breathability and stretch from previous Nike jerseys. Precision knit technology has also been applied where necessary and breathability has been enhanced in areas prone to heat generation. When viewed up close, the jersey reveals an intricate woven structure, while from a distance, the weave does not detract from the artistry of each national team's jersey.
