The Primera División (commonly known as the First Division) is the highest level of the Mexican soccer league system, administered by the Mexican Soccer Association (in English: Federación Mexicana de Fútbol). It was founded in 1943.
It's a place that produces demonic stars, so their race system has to be demonic as well.
Introduction to the system
DIVISION: Prior to the start of the season the teams were divided by draw into three groups of six teams each.
Spring and Fall Short Season: The inter-annual season is divided into a spring league (Apertura) in the first half of the year and a fall league (Clausura) in the second half of the year, with each team playing a single round-robin tournament in each short season.
At the end of the full season, the top two teams from each group and the two remaining teams with the best records advance to the playoffs.
Playoffs: A home-and-away elimination system is used. Until the final champion is decided.
relegation system
At the end of each short season, a relegated team is created. The team with the lowest scoring average in the last three seasons (spring league + fall league) will be relegated to the second division.
