The club officially announced that 36-year-old Spanish striker
José Morales
will return to the team on waivers.
An announcement from Levante FC confirmed that Morales has signed with the team until June 2025 and includes a one-year option to extend his contract. The experienced striker previously played for Levante between 2011 and 2022.
Last season, Morales appeared in 38 games for Villarreal, contributing 10 goals and 1 assist. He left the team after his contract expired this summer and has now opted to return to Levante to play for the team again.
