Flamengo have expressed an interest in West Ham midfielder Paqueta on loan, but West Ham have made it clear that they will not agree to such an arrangement. While Flamengo plan to try again to broker a loan deal in the coming weeks, the only possible option is to make a permanent move.
Paqueta was recently investigated by the Football Association of England for alleged betting violations, although no ban has yet been handed down. He was impressive for West Ham last season, scoring eight goals and assisting seven times in 43 appearances.
