into a five-year contract extension totaling $224 million.
The contract includes a designated rookie clause and is worth up to $269 million if Wagner Jr. is named to the Best XI for the 2024-25 season.
Wagner Jr. was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the 8th overall pick in 2021 and has started all 231 regular season games over the past three seasons. Averaging 31.9 minutes per game, he is contributing 17.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists on 47.9 percent, 33.2 percent and 85.0 percent shooting.
