Argentina
The national team is actively preparing for
America's Cup
For the semifinals, they will face Canada. According to ESPN, head coach Scaloni led his team in a training session on Sunday to assess the possibility of lineup adjustments to optimize their strategic deployment against Canada.
Scaloni was not entirely satisfied with the result of Argentina's last match against Ecuador, and with the fact that the opponents, Canada, are already meeting for the second time, the coaching team wants to avoid a repeat. Lineup adjustments are expected to involve multiple positions, including changes to the defense, midfield and attacking line.
At left back, Tagliafico is expected to be a lock to start, while Acuña is a temporary underdog due to his poor training form. Lisandro is expected to return to the defense in place of Otamendi after being subbed out due to excessive fatigue in the last match. There could also be a change at right back, with Scaloni likely to re-evaluate options given that Molina will face the challenge of Alfonso Davies.
There are variables in the midfield configuration, with Enzo inconsistent and Paredes likely to return to the starting lineup. On the offensive side, Di Maria is expected to get a chance to play, while

Could be paired with Messi in the starting XI to boost firepower up front.
