La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that AC Milan have offered Spanish striker
Morata (name)
A three-year contract has been offered with an annual salary of up to €4 million and a total contract value of €12 million. The contract, which will run until 2027, matches the expiry of Morata's current contract at Atletico Madrid, and Milan's offer essentially spreads Atletico's two-year salary over three years of payments.
Morata's contract with Atletico will expire in 2026, with a total salary of the same €12 million. Notably, Morata's contract includes a €13 million release clause, meaning Milan can activate it directly without having to engage in lengthy transfer negotiations with Atletico.
Morata has reportedly been informed of the details of Milan's offer, but his personal request is a four-year contract with an annual salary of €5 million. Nonetheless, Morata's agent has a very different attitude to that of Zylkiser's agent and is prepared to provide Milan with the necessary assistance to facilitate the transfer.
Milan sees Morata as the ideal target for the center forward position, and his joining will greatly enhance the team's attacking power. With the transfer window gradually closing, Milan is actively promoting this deal, hoping to finalize the transfer of the Spanish international as soon as possible.
