According to the Daily Mail.
Liverpool (England)
New head coach Jürgen
Slaughter
Consideration is being given to placing former Everton defender Johnny
Hettinga
into his coaching team. Heitinga was assistant manager at West Ham United under David Moyes and he has held initial talks with Slaughter.
Heitinga made 140 appearances for Everton during his career and also played for the likes of Ajax and Atletico Madrid. After retiring from football, he coached at Ajax FC and West Ham United, but opted to leave after Moyes left for West Ham United.
As a Dutchman, Heitinga has a fair degree of knowledge of both Slot and the Premier League, which could be an advantage for him to be part of the Reds' coaching team. However, he is not the only candidate for the role at the moment.
