According to Italian media outlet AllMarkets.com, Serie A side

Turin (Italy)

are actively searching for a replacement for outgoing center back Buon Giorno, and have their sights set on AC Milan defender Alessandro

Simic (name)

.. Torino are expected to soon receive a €40 million transfer fee from Buon Giorno's move to Napoli, which will be used to strengthen their squad.

As well as showing interest in Sassuolo player Emile Laurent, Torino have turned their attention to Milan's young defender Simic. Torino see Simic as a long-term investment target and hope to strengthen the team's future by bringing him in.

For Milan, the Red and Blacks are at risk of potentially losing the young defender for free due to Simic's lukewarm response to the club's contract extension offer. As a result, Milan are unlikely to set too high a transfer price for Simic.

With Buon Giorno about to join Napoli, Torino are in dire need of a suitable addition to their backline. The potential signing of Simic would bring new hope to Torino and relieve Milan of the pressure caused by the player's contractual issues. Transfer talks between the two sides are likely to accelerate in the coming weeks with a view to reaching a mutually beneficial deal.
