Premier League giants Arsenal Football Club have suffered a setback in the transfer market this summer, according to an update from The Athletic's David Ornstein. Arsenal are reportedly interested in

The 30-year-old goalkeeper Rudy
Bentley
has generated a lot of interest in bringing him into the team as a replacement goalkeeper option for David Raya and Aaron Ramsdale.
However, Arsenal's first offer did not meet Wolves' expectations and was rejected out of hand. It is understood that Wolves' valuation of Bentley far exceeded the offer made by Arsenal, which led to a stalemate in negotiations between the two sides. Bentley, who is currently under contract with Wolves until 2025, made seven appearances for the first team last season, conceding 10 goals and completing three clean sheets.
Despite failing to succeed at the first attempt, it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will adjust their strategy and increase their offer to meet Wolves' demands or move on to other targets.
