Munich are close to completing the signing of Portuguese midfielder Palinha. The total transfer fee will amount to €55 million, marking an important step for Bayern in strengthening their midfield.
Falke revealed that Palinha is scheduled to fly to Munich this Wednesday local time to officially sign his contract with Bayern. Previously, he has successfully passed the medical examination arranged by Bayern last weekend, including two key parts of internal medicine and orthopedics.
Palinha had a notable season last season with Premier League side Fulham, making 39 appearances, scoring four goals and contributing one assist. His current German transfer market value also happens to be €55 million, which reflects his high demand and value in the transfer market.
With the completion of this transfer, Palinha will be a new addition to Bayern's lineup, and his addition is expected to further enhance the team's midfield control and defensive stability.
