According to journalist Christopher Michel

Manchester United Football Club

The 19-year-old centerback of the

Kambwala, capital of Uganda

has rejected a contract extension offer from the club. Kambwala's current contract expires in 2025, but the young defender seems to have different plans for his future.

Kambwala played 10 games for United's first team last season and showed a lot of potential and talent. His de turn price is currently €5 million, which is a good valuation for a young player. However, despite United's desire to retain the promising defender, Kambwala's selection suggests that he may seek a new challenge.

Clubs from several leagues, including Ligue 1, Bundesliga, La Liga and Major League Soccer, are known to have expressed interest and inquired about Cambuara. Of these, La Liga is probably Cumbwala's most favored destination, possibly because of the style and culture of La Liga that appeals to him.

Kambwala's decision is undoubtedly a blow for Manchester United, as the club has been working hard to develop young players in the hope that they will be able to establish themselves in the first team. However, personal choices of players are part and parcel of professional soccer and United may have to accept the departure of Kambwala and start looking for an alternative.
