Speaking about which player impressed him the most at this year's Euros, Konate did not hesitate to mention Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku. He said, "Lukaku is undoubtedly one of the strongest and most technical strikers I have played against. His physicality is amazing, but he is also technically very good and is able to create a huge threat on the field. This is not just because of his goal-scoring ability, but also because of his all-round impact on the game. Being able to play with him is both a challenge and a learning opportunity for me."
Konate further emphasized that while Lukaku may bring a lot of pressure in the game, it is part of the game of soccer and he is confident that the French team will be able to deal with such challenges as a whole. "We won't focus on Lukaku alone, but we will pay special attention to his threat and strategize our defense accordingly. At the same time, we will use our attacking strengths to create chances and make the game more balanced."
For the upcoming match against Belgium, Konaté said he is ready to give his best to contribute to the team, whether as a starter or a substitute. "I always believe that as long as I stay focused and determined, I will be able to perform in the game. I also believe that my teammates will do the same and together we will win for France."
