Selke is 29 years old, standing at 1 meter 95, and plays as a striker. Last season, he played for Köln, accumulating 1,394 minutes in 21 appearances and contributing six goals.
Selke's soccer career originated with Stuttgart Kickers and the Stuttgart youth system. He joined the Hoffenheim youth academy in 2009, before joining Werder Bremen's second team in 2013 and was promoted to Werder Bremen's first team in 2014. He then played for Leipzig, Hertha Berlin and returned briefly to Werder Bremen for one season in 2020.In 2023, Selke joined Köln on a free transfer.
