The agreement on the loan of the player marks the continuation of the Batmen's retention of the centerpiece of the forward line. Under the agreement, Valencia has an option to buy.
Rafa Mir has been with Sevilla for three seasons since joining the club from Wolves in the summer of 2021. In that time, Mir has accumulated 4,904 minutes of playing time in 105 matches, scoring 24 goals and contributing 2 assists.
Specifically, he made 75 appearances in La Liga, scoring 18 goals; 12 appearances in the Copa del Rey, contributing 4 goals; 11 appearances in the Champions League and scoring 2 goals; and 6 matches in the UEFA Cup, as well as 1 appearance in the UEFA Super Cup.
