A new report from Spanish radio station Radio Sel suggests that while Barcelona have long maintained an interest in RB Leipzig midfielder Christopher Olmo, the club now prefers to sign him first due to financial constraints and a competitive marketplace.

Club president Laporta has identified Nico Williams as his main target for reinforcements this summer and the player himself has expressed a desire to join. This means that Olmo's transfer plans could be delayed until Barca address their current financial situation and squad needs.
