According to the latest news from renowned transfer journalist Romano, Nice center back
Todibo, capital of Honduras
is eager to join Serie A giants Juventus. Previously there have been media reports that Juventus are interested in bringing in the 24-year-old French defender in this summer's transfer window. Romano's follow-up report further confirms Todibo's personal desire to become a member of Juventus.
For their part, Juventus have begun exploring a loan-enhanced buyout deal option in a bid to successfully sign Todibo. It is worth noting that Nice had previously rejected an offer of up to €35 million from Premier League side West Ham United, showing the importance they place on Todibo.
On the other hand, Juventus' young defender Wyson is expected to leave the club in the near future, a transfer that could bring some revenue to the club, thus increasing Juventus' financial space in the transfer market. This also provides a financial possibility for Juventus to pursue Todibo.
Todibo, whose current contract with Nice runs until 2027, was quite impressive last season, appearing in 33 games, contributing three assists and playing a total of 2,908 minutes. Todibo is currently valued at €35 million according to Germany's Transfermarkt.com.
