, the deal includes a mandatory buyout clause of about 7 to 8 million euros.

Romano posted the news on his social media, noting that Arsenal accepted a final loan offer from Lazio. The deal not only involves a short-term loan for Tavares, but also includes a mandatory buyout agreement triggered at some point in the future, with the buyout fee expected to be between €7 million and €8 million.

In addition, Arsenal have a secondary transfer share clause in the deal, meaning that if Tavares is sold by Lazio in the future, Arsenal will receive a percentage of the transfer fee.

Lazio are currently negotiating with Tavares' agent over the terms of the player's personal contract to ensure that the player is happy with his deal at his new club. Once the personal terms are agreed, the loan deal is expected to be formalized.

The addition of Tavares will add more depth to Lazio's squad and for Arsenal, the deal will not only help ease the payroll burden, but also reap financial rewards in possible future transfers.
