Thessaloniki managed to advance to the last eight of the UEFA Europa League 1/8 final with a 5-1 victory at home over Dinamo Zagreb in a marquee match of the second leg of the UEFA Europa League 1/8 final.

In this match, Thessaloniki showed a strong offensive firepower. Soon after the match started, Thessaloniki kept threatening Dinamo Zagreb's goal through accurate passes and sharp breakthroughs. In the 27th minute, Kulelakis assisted Baba to score a goal and give Thessaloniki the lead. Tyson then assisted Kulelakis with another goal to extend the lead.
